yard sale!
i love yard sales! (and hand-me-downs and dumpster diving, lol!) i drove past a yard full of furniture this morning and couldn't help myself: i hung a u turn and went back. now, i need more furniture like i need a new hole in my head. sadly, that doesn't seem to stop me - much to dh's great annoyance! but this guy had the best prices!! i got a wicker chair that was originally around $100 at pier one for $7 - with the cushion! i've always wanted wicker patio furnitue, but could never afford any. and the cushions are usually separate and cost another small fortune. he also had some great benches with upholstered cushions, like you might put at the foot of your bed, for only $5!!! i couldn't pass it up, so i bought one of those, too. i have no idea where i'll put it. do you think i can hide the bench from dh? it takes up the whole back seat of my car, lol!

Great finds!!! Wish I had the courage to go to yard sales - used to go to car boot sales back in Ireland and when I visited my sister in the UK and they were so much fun!!! But yard sales kinda scare me lol!
PS Want to add you to my Pinkie blog list but I've kinda forgotten how I set it up - so I've been scratching my head, but I'm sure I'll work it out soon lol!!!!
